Dissection as the final teacher

Anatomy of the Face — Advanced is a two-day dissection course for physicians whose daily work already depends on anatomical judgement. In our boutique lab, small groups dissect the periorbital, midface and perioral regions in depth — following vessels through their variations, opening the planes that fillers travel, and reconstructing complication scenarios in tissue. It is demanding, quiet, focused work. Participants leave with an understanding that cannot be acquired from any atlas.

What you will learn
/01

Periorbital danger zones

The supratrochlear, supraorbital and ophthalmic anastomoses — dissected, mapped and related to blindness case reports.

/02

Midface in depth

Deep fat compartments, the infraorbital bundle and the angular artery's course — the anatomy of the most-treated region.

/03

Perioral vasculature and variation

Labial artery depth and variability demonstrated across specimens — why lip technique must assume the unexpected.

/04

Complication anatomy

Reconstructing intravascular events in tissue: where product travels, why necrosis patterns look as they do, and what hyaluronidase must reach.

/05

Hands-on regional dissection

Supervised dissection in pairs across both days, with faculty at each table and structured anatomical checklists.

Included

Lab access for both days, dissection instruments, protective equipment, atlas materials, and access to the online platform.
